One of the most interesting aspects of the first day of flying is that each journey had an associated waybill, so we can see which routes flew the most mail. The waybills shown below are all from the 20th August and represent the weights of the main routes.

They include interesting foreign addresses, covers from abroad and posted into RAS system (although I didn’t think that was allowed, I thought they had to be posted in the city vicinity), mail lists and an excursion ticket.
